The songwriter establishes the story, message, point of view, characters or scenes where relevant, emotional arc, listener objective, structure, title/hook direction, tone, genre direction, and original wording or ideas worth preserving.
Development strengthens the song without losing the writer’s voice. Once the lyric is ready for musical exploration, two materially different creative demos compare melody, tempo, arrangement, instrumentation, vocal character, phrasing, and emotional direction.
The actual development chronology is assessed under the Scribe2Stage Human Authorship methodology. Level 1 establishes meaningful documented human authorship. Level 2 goes further, requiring 100% human-determined final lyric expression under the Scribe2Stage analysis.
The exact lyric is tested against the selected demo vocal for practical human singability and performance feasibility—including density, breathing, diction, natural word stress, pronunciation, range, transitions, endurance, and apparent synthetic-vocal dependency.
Distinctive lyric expression is screened for potentially meaningful conflicts before the song is treated as production-ready. If a material concern requires a rewrite, the affected authorship, vocal-readiness, and IP checks loop back as needed.
The lyric is approved to enter professional production only after the applicable development, authorship, vocal-readiness, and lyrics-IP requirements are resolved. This is the production authorization boundary.
If the goal calls for a professional recording, Scribe2Stage manages the bridge from the locked song into vetted human production.
Professional producer and/or musicians replace or materially reconstruct the AI-generated accompaniment while preserving the established creative direction.
A professional vocalist replaces the AI lead vocal. Any lyric-performance issue returns to Scribe2Stage; outside collaborators do not independently rewrite the lyric.
Professional human instrumentation, lead vocal, mixing, mastering, project management, rights/confidentiality controls, and final QC within the agreed scope.
When professional human-vocal production is used, the Final Production Lyric is confirmed only after production proves the wording works as intended and any approved production-stage lyric changes are reconciled.
The final Human Authorship Report is based on the Final Production Lyric and complete development chronology. From there, optional copyright-registration support, distribution, marketing, licensing, and catalog work can proceed under the applicable scope.
HAR is Scribe2Stage’s proprietary 100-point rating of documented human lyric authorship and final creative control. A separate measure addresses how much appreciable AI-origin authorship-bearing lyric expression remains in the final lyric.
HAR is not a government standard, a legal copyright threshold, or a percentage of human-written words. Level 2 does not mean AI was absent from the process or that the full song/recording is 100% human-authored.
